Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Asr: Islamic Focus (“Asr”, “the App”, “we”, “us”). The App is developed by Yavuz Selim Aydin. Contact: asrislamiodak.support@gmail.com.

By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Purpose of the App

Asr helps users build prayer and Quran habits and protect focus by limiting selected distracting apps during configured protection windows. The App is a habit and productivity tool. It is not a religious authority, legal service, medical service, emergency service, or guaranteed accessibility/blocking system.

2. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Choosing your goals, schedules, protected apps, and notification settings.
• Verifying prayer times and religious obligations with sources you trust.
• Keeping critical communication, emergency, workplace, school, health, or safety apps accessible when needed.
• Using operating system permissions only in ways that are appropriate for your device and situation.

3. Permissions and Device Features

The App may request permissions such as location, notifications, Accessibility on Android, overlay permission on Android, and Screen Time / FamilyControls authorization on iOS. These permissions are used to provide prayer-time calculation, reminders, and user-configured app protection. Some features may not work if required permissions are denied or revoked.

4. Premium Subscription

Asr may offer an optional Premium subscription. Premium may unlock features such as higher or unlimited limits for protected apps within Asr and combined prayer + Quran goals.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and validated through RevenueCat. Prices, billing periods, free trials, introductory offers, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the store where you purchased the subscription.

Subscriptions generally renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to the store’s rules. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription.

5. Free and Premium Feature Changes

We may change, add, remove, limit, or improve free or Premium features over time. If a Premium feature changes materially, we will aim to keep the subscription value clear and fair, but we do not guarantee that every feature will remain unchanged forever.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the App, reverse engineer protected parts, or bypass subscription checks.
• Use the App to interfere with another person’s device without permission.
• Use the App in a way that violates law, platform rules, or third-party rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse app services or purchase systems.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, design, code, branding, and original content are owned by us or licensed to us. Quran text, translations, fonts, libraries, and other third-party materials may be subject to their own licenses and source attribution notices.

8. Availability and Accuracy

We try to keep the App reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect blocking, exact notification delivery, or error-free prayer-time calculation on every device, region, OS version, or permission configuration.

9. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent allowed by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement where permitted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity arising from your use of the App.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or limit access to features if required by law, platform policy, security needs, or to address misuse.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when the App, subscriptions, legal requirements, or platform rules change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
